Issue 5: Top Stories This Week

This week’s presentation covers two recent stories of severe persecution:

The attack on Ashur Sarnaya, a 45-year old Christian who, on September 10th, whilst in his wheelchair, streaming about his faith on TikTok, was stabbed in the neck.

The horrifying massacre in DRC, from an ambushed funeral on September 8th, where Christians were shot and killed with machetes, to the persecution in the following days, that saw a total of more than 100 Christians killed.

Matthew 5:11-12 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Let us remember our brothers and sisters in prayer, that God would comfort, restore for, strengthen and heal those suffering from this persecution. We pray for God’s protection over them.
